नोएडा सहित उत्तर प्रदेश के कई इलाकों में कोहरे की घनी चादर की वजह से कई सड़क दुर्घटनाएं सामने आई है. जिसमें दो बाइक सवारों की जान चली गई और लगभग तीन दर्जन लोग घायल है।
आगरा लखनऊ एक्सप्रेसवे पर घने कोहरे के कारण एक खराब ट्रक से कई बार टक्कर हो गई. जिसमें कई कार सवार घायल हो गए जिन्हें सैफई मेडिकल कॉलेज भेजा गया, जबकि एक को शिकोहाबाद अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है. हादसे में एक घायल ने बताया कि उन्हें कुछ दिखाई नहीं दे रहा था, उनकी कार एक वाहन से टकराई, उसके बाद तीन-चार और कारें उनकी कार से टकरा गई।
गौतम बुध नगर के ईस्टर्न पेरीफेरल एक्सप्रेसवे पर मंगलवार तड़के तीन वाहनों की भिड़ंत हो गई ,जिसमें 17 लोग घायल हो गए. पुलिस के अनुसार यह हादसा ईस्टर्न पेरीफेरल एक्सप्रेसवे पर सिरसा से फरीदाबाद की तरफ जाने वाली सड़क पर हुआ. जहां कोहरे के कारण विजिबिलिटी बेहद कम थी. पुलिस ने बताया कि एक ट्रक को पीछे से आ रहे दूसरे ट्रक ने टक्कर मारी. उसके बाद एक बस भी भिड़ गई और उसने दूसरे ट्रक को टक्कर मारी. पानीपत से मथुरा जा रही बस में सवार 17 लोग घायल हो गए।
फिरोजाबाद में भी आगरा लखनऊ एक्सप्रेसवे पर एक पिकअप ट्रक के खराब होने से 6 वाहन आपस में टकरा गए. घने कोहरे के कारण ड्राइवर को खड़ी हुई गाड़ी नहीं दिखाई थी जिसके बाद हादसा हो गया।
वही बुलंदशहर में एक तेज रफ्तार ट्रक ने बाइक सवार को टक्कर मारी,जिससे मैनपुरी निवासी मंच राम की मौत हो गई. पुलिस ने ट्रक चालक को हिरासत में ले लिया है. एक और हादसा बदायूं में हुआ. एक अज्ञात वाहन ने शिक्षक संतोष सिंह की बाईक को टक्कर मार दी जिससे उसकी मौत हो गई।
